The Ideal is a very early model of washboards for Canadian Woodenware Co. It has a galvanized metal wash surface and is one of the most popular today with its small, portable size and unbreakable wash surface.  This model is ideal for camping and travelling or if you do not have a lot of storage space in your home, but still want a backup washing method the old-fashioned way!

A Bit of History
The metal surface of the Ideal washboard is crimped with an original restored Brown and Boggs metal crimping machine dating from the early 1900s.
